Presentations in your classroom using real animal skulls and bones to highlight different animals' adaptations, food source/diet, habitat, and unique characteristics.
This is my personal hobby of collecting animal skulls. The process is somewhat unique by cleaning, degreasing, whitening and then sealing all skulls that are shown in the classroom. This hobby springs from my love for animals and learning how they live. None of the animals in my collection were harmed for the purpose of my collection. Instead they were gathered by way of other avenues like road kill and from Northwestern Ontario trappers etc. These skulls would have otherwise been discarded. The final result of my hobby is a useful real example of the animals in our country.
Special Thanks to the Peace River Alberta Ministry Office for Sending these Specimens to Ontario! Just finishing up the cougar and they will be posted as skulls and soon to be a full skeleton of the cougar.
Polar bear Complete! Special thanks to the government of Nunavut for providing this amazing specimen!
